Last night I put four eggs in a pan of water on the stove to boil to make tuna salad. I walked out of the kitchen to get ready for bed. I went to bed and about thirty minutes later Jerry and I heard a loud pop.
I got out of bed and immediately smelled the eggs. They had exploded all over the stove. I didn’t know eggs would explode like that. My main concern was for my pan. It was not the first pan I had ruined by leaving the kitchen while I had something cooking on the stove. Maybe I should always use a timer.
I’m cooking eggs again as I write but this time I’m in a chair by the stove. I really can’t blame this incident with the boiled eggs on my age because I remember this happening to me even when I was young.
